Dr. Joseph B. Majdalani (JBM) devoted his life to presenting the inner sciences under the umbrella of the Esoteric Science, introducing it in Arabic in 1982. He founded the Society of Friends of the White Knowledge in 1988, through which he presented the Esoteric Science in a systematic, practical, and scientific methodology.
He was a prolific writer, having published sixty-one books in Arabic under the publications of Friends of the White Knowledge – the Esoteric Science series. He also authored several books in English. He signed his works with his initials (JBM).
Master JBM presented the Esoteric Science in a style that is both simple and profound. Many of his works have been translated into English, French, Spanish, Bulgarian, Russian, Armenian, and Greek. Since the establishment of the Esoteric Center in Beirut, he also regularly delivered free weekly public lectures and accepted numerous invitations to give lectures in various Lebanese regions, several Arab countries, and some European countries. He had numerous articles in local and Arab newspapers, in addition to interviews on television and radio.
Master JBM also offered regular lectures and lessons specifically for students enrolled at the Esoteric Science Center. He also trained his advanced students to write and author works within the publications of the Friends of White Knowledge – the Esoteric Science series. His students have authored over fifty books in Arabic.
His works are distinguished by their diversity, as they do not adhere to a single writing style. Their subjects range from the art of the novel, the subtlety of the short story, and the transparency of esoteric poetry to the elegance of scientific prose.
