Joseph B. Majdalani (JBM)
This book is a personal account by a student of the Esoterique who spent a hundred days with a Master of Wisdom some place in the Himalayas… where he was able to verify and witness, personally, so-called “miracles” or supernatural phenomena which the Master was able to work in the capacity of the unfoldment of his psychic and esoteric powers.
The student observed and listened to the Master as he explained the technique of developing those hidden powers latent in man, and of producing such “phenomena or miracles”, in a general sense.
It is a scientific explanation allowing you to observe an experiment that is very close to your comprehension and enabling you to understand the laws which control and direct such phenomena, those immutable natural laws behind much of the manifestations recognized both by science and parapsychology. However, science endeavours to search for the truth behind those happenings and their causes in a very limited sense and from a very materialistic point of view.
The book is an invariable proof and definite evidence to all who doubt the existence of supernatural human psychic powers, and says: “It is good to doubt, but more important is that our doubt be positive, i.e. a doubt which would ultimately lead to belief…, and it is good to search, but more important is that our research be logical and concentrated on the aim of that search, which is self-evolution and transcendence in science and knowledge. For, negative doubt is a malignant disease which if deep-rooted would kill all understanding.
