Everyone experiences pain according to their capacity to endure and understand it. Therefore, people do not differ in the magnitude of their pain, but in the level of their consciousness! The ratio of pain to consciousness is equal for all. In other words, if the ratio of your pain to your level of consciousness is seventy percent, then the ratio of another person’s pain relative to their level of consciousness is likewise seventy percent; yet the level of consciousness itself differs.
